About Me

I am a Celebrant.

Which for me, means I Love to Celebrate people and the occasions which make up the rich tapestry of our lives.

Like most people, I have many roles in life. I have experienced everything from waitressing, advertising, dairy farming, kindergarten committees and catering through to a long and rewarding career as a kitchen designer. Each role has something in common – it has involved working closely with people from all walks of life.

I’ve been given so much joy from my family, my children, my grandchildren. I‘ve experienced Love, Loss, illness and also the delight and kinship and warmth of loyal friends. I’m a very lucky person in so many ways.

I’d like to think that this life has led me to a place where I can empathise and relate to those who come to me to find and celebrate the joy of life in whichever role is required.

I’ve been Celebrating in South Canterbury since 2017, I’m a thankful member of CANZ (Celebrants Aotearoa New Zealand). CANZ is the Professional Body for Celebrants in New Zealand and provides ongoing learning, legal and ethical guidlelines, open communication and liason with BDM (Births Deaths and Marriages) and very valuable networking  - to name but a few.
