Baby Naming
A Naming Ceremony is a chance to gather together with family and friends and formally celebrate the newest member of the family. It’s a celebration of family and life. (Celebrants Aotearoa New Zealand)
There you have it in a nutshell -and so it is entirely up to you how to celebrate and whether you would like to include blessings, prayers, or poetry – or to include your hopes and dreams for your newest family member. Your own family culture is what I am interested in here, and what makes you feel happy and relaxed.
For a baby it may be combined with the first birthday celebrations, you may have other siblings or family members who wish to speak and you may even celebrate with a special gift for that child. Or perhaps you have a new family member via adoption, or have created a blended family and want to have the ultimate celebration of the new family unit that has been formed.
This ceremony can be held wherever you choose, whether it be an outdoor venue like a beach or park, or at your own home, or even at a restaurant or venue if you’d like it to be larger!
I am very happy to guide you to the solution that works for you and we can put our heads together and come up with the best fit for your own unique Celebration.
Renewal of Vows
It really is Love to Celebrate when you have been married for a while and you’ve climbed those difficult mountains together and continue to walk the path holding hands. It’s at this time that your relationship gains even more depth, and what better to celebrate than this beautiful achievement?
Sometimes, your first wedding was a long time ago, and maybe due to circumstances wasn’t all you would have wished for?
How, when and why you’d like to renew those vows is completely your choice. I’d love to help you along, and Celebrate with a ceremony that is all about you. Maybe it’s about what you’ve shared, and what you wish for in your future. Maybe it’s about having your family surrounding you, but whatever your reason I’m here to guide you and make those wishes come true.

As a professional public speaker I’d be delighted to MC your wedding as an added service to you. An MC essentially hosts your reception, and makes sure it runs according to plan!
As your MC, I’m happy to be the go-to person who can:
Answer your guest’s queries and provide information for them
Gather your family/friends for photography
Liase with your catering staff/ vendors/photographer /videographer etc
Make all announcements regarding seating, meal, etc
Announce your speeches/speakers/first dance etc
As with your ceremony, the planning of your MC duties is individual and tailored to your needs. I am the MC who will keep your reception entertaining and Fun!
